In other news:
:: Work has been really busy lately. I'm looking forward to my day off on Friday. The house is less than tidy to stay the least. My attitude during the day for some reason is greatly affected by the order in which my house is in. I can't stop thinking about the clean unfolded heap of laundry that has taken residence on our guest bed. But, who wants to fold laundry when they get home at 7 o'clock at night? Not me.
:: My sweet Mom sent me a surprise in the mail yesterday. If you'll remember from a few posts ago, I check the porch for packages everyday and yesterday there was one! Mom sent me a lovely card and her new book! Hurray! I love surprises.
:: I’ve started a new craft project. I’m trying to crochet a blanket. So far, so good. Molly is old enough now that she doesn’t try to eat the yarn, so I can do it while watching TV.
:: What did you think of American Idol last night? I think the boys did scads better. I really like Blake. I’m looking forward to the girls singing tonight!

I love Blake as well. I also love Chris, although he is not the best singer. He cracks me up.
What is your take on this whole Antonella Barba picture scandal? I think the legitimate photos are risque enough for her to be booted and even if the more graphic shots are not of her, the damage has been done. That is all I could think of tonight while she was singing. I would hate to be a 20 year old girl that millions of people relate with what basically is porno. Your thoughts? -

I've not been overly impressed by many of the finalists this year. Chris Sligh and Blake are the only two guys that I enjoy listening to. The rest just sound cheesy. As for the girls, I agree first of all with the first commenter. Antonella needs to go. They've booted people for much less, but now that its an attractive young girl, they are keeping her around. Just wrong. Plus she really cannot sing anywhere near as well as some of the other girls. For the talented ones, I like Melinda (I think that's her name?) and Jordan. No on else has blown me away this year.
I hate to say it, but I think I might be getting sick of Idol. They just don't seem to be getting great singers any more. -

I haven't watched a single second of idol yet this year, after faithfully watching last year. I'm not sure why it's not appealing to me one bit, but I'm also not trying to change that. (Less TV never hurt anybody, right?!)

I saw that ice cream may aid fertitity for some here and then heard it on the world news last night.
As for idol......I don't watch. I did start watching Nashville star this year!
